Here are the rest of the sets brought by kc8adu. The first two are from rca2000, both beautiful sets. (thanks jack!) In order, 1967 rca victor FH526U. This one has a very unique textured vinal beige cabinet. Then in a 1969 Zenith 18" 16Z8C19 model Y3914-3 and a 1970 RCA ctc36. This one I bought from kc8.
The ctc19 had a defective uhf tuner in which the oscillator transistor needed to be replaced as it was open. I then had to re align the rf on the uhf tuner. RCA is known for jammed uhf tuners. Luckily on both sets, it was only dried grease. However, the infamous 6GH8's were already replaced. As for the zenith it looks like it was just built. needed some convergence touch up and control lubrication its all good now (love those easy fixes!) Interesting to note, the tv was serviced at mobile tv service in Glenview, IL which is very close to me and this set was in cincinatti!
As for the 1970 rca, I havnt worked on it yet but looks very nice and appears to be an all tube chassis. there may be a transistor or two I missed, but looks loaded with tubes which is a very good thing. Thanks again to rca2000 for selling me these two nice tvs and kc8adu for bringing them to ft wayne.

the 1969 zenith. This is a zenith chassis I have never found yet. Nice 18" all steel cabinet. I was glad to see it had orange spot light dials.

the 1970 CTC36 from kc8adu. This one has the concealed carry handel. Also to note, this model has a very fine woven wire mesh speaker grille.

Your welcome, doug. I am surprised ,that the zenith is from illinois, as I acquired it, and the Rca, in Kettering a couple of years ago, after a radio club meeting.(Kettering is a suburb of Dayton, Oh.) I ALMOST did not take those sets off of the guy who had them( i had a rental vehicle, and did not want to damage it, but i took them anyway, and they sat in my storage garage, until last week). I'M sure glad I took them as I'm sure they would have been landfill fodder, otherwise, had I not done so.

Glad to know that you got them to work. I figured the Zenith would be o.k, but i had not lit it up, unlike the Rca, which I KNEW had a good tube, fly, and so on.
