Pale Rider: Clint Eastwood's remake of Shane.
Clint was clearly still learning his craft.

Wall-E and Milk. Both good movies for completely different reasons.

Spent the weekend watching movies.
Longest Day on Blu-ray, superb, get it. The Fall, very surrealistic, if you like a good story this will knock your socks off. Then A Clockwork Orange, lots of naughty fun. Then I watched The Messanger on VHS, , not great on a plasma. However, I remembered why I have this as one of my favorite movies. Just a good movie, I'll do the Blu-ray this weekend. Getting ready to end the wekend with Mama, Mia should be family fun for all.

The Navigator-My wife and I went to the Orpheum Theatre downtown yesterday. Its a restored movie palace from the 20s.We saw the 1924 Buster Keaton movie there with live organ accompaniment. The theatre and the restored organ were amazing. The movie was funny and it moved very quickly. They had a Keaton short film before the feature, and he did quite a few stunt gags.My wife says,"Jackie Chan has nothing on him."I tell her Jackie was a big fan of Buster's,and uses a lot of his old gags in his movies.
