Witness for the Prosecution - last night on TCM.

Last movie I saw in a theater was No Country for Old Men. Wonderful.

Field of Dreams marked the beginning of the end of my marriage... We were watching it in the theater when it first came out. I was just beginning to be swept away by the fantasy of it, I had just totally abandoned my sense of reality to be absorbed in the movie when my wife turns to me and whispers... "Is this the stupidest movie you've ever seen?" We started seeing fewer and fewer things eye-to-eye over the years after.

Kiss of the Spider Woman. Great film.
Sideways. Good light entertainment.
Charlie Wilson's War is on deck for tonight.

Slumdog Millionaire - great but sad movie. Definitely tugs at the heart strings. Well worth the money to go see.

Danish film: "Kinamand" (Chinaman.) That kind of both very concrete and very moving film that Dogme helped introduce.

Danish man marries the daughter of his Chinese take-out owner so she can get a green card. Complications follow. Very well worth it, both funny and sad.

Rented "Get Smart" on DVD and watched it in bed last night. Fell in and out of sleep, but it was funny enough to watch it again this weekend. Much better than I expected

We saw 'Taken' yesterday. Violent and fast paced. Just what my wife likes in a big screen experience (am I a lucky guy or what?).

Went to put on Charlie Wilson's War last night, a Netflix rental... Opened the envelope and out popped "Alvin and the Chipmunks!" (I did NOT watch that...)
