We watched our first Bela Tarr film, "Werckmeister Harmonies" (I picked it as an 'entry film' of his, not wanting to go straight into the extremely long "Satantango") and while it is not what you'd ever call mainstream, it is a very beautiful, moody film, done by someone who really has a complete vision of what he wants on-screen. The imagery and moods truly stay with you.

I saw Disney's 'Bolt' last night in 3-D. The movie wasn't as bad as I was expecting, though it's no Pixar film. The 3-D is fun, although I found it was threatening to make me a little sick in more action-filled sequences.

Saw the new Bond movie Quantum Solace this evening. Not your dad's Bond movie for sure. Spectacular locations and nonstop action. Oh and the beautiful women, but no Q!

I saw it the other day as well and thought it was pretty well done, I liked it. Daniel Craig makes a good Bond in my opinion, although different I think its a good different.

Yeah, no Q sucks for sure but I don't think I would want anyone replacing the original played by Desmond Llewelyn. I was sad when he died

Wall E..watched the DVD version on a Blu Ray player since the BD versions were all out and IMO,Pixar keeps upping the ante on computer animation.There are times when you forget it's animation. The movie was ok.Would not buy it.
