Of course Deckard is replicant! I thought the directors cut made this pretty clear, with the origami unicorn at the end of the flick?

The interview segment Deck-A-Rep: The Nature Of Rick Deckard explains it all.

I don't need the interview to tell me who Deckard is....I read the book. Besides what right do they have to spoil that part of the film. I think the Directors cut handled the whole thing rather well, I don't see why they need to clarify it any further.

Well, excuse me.

In case I sound like I'm not a fan of this box-set-

I studied film in college, and always have enjoyed the different re-releases and tweaked versions of a film, such as Apocalypse Now: Redux, the two versions of Terry Gilliam's Brazil, and the re-released Star Wars films, done with CGI.

I haven't seen the new Donny Darko re-release, which from what I can garner, is mostly changes in the soundtrack.

Four different releases of Blade Runner will make for a very interesting veiwing- I've never seen the international release, just the original US release, and parts of the one sans-voiceover.

So, once again, I apologise if I've offended you or rubbed you the wrong way. I do appreciate your info on this, and look forward to catching all four films.

Paul

Can't get into Hannah . Sean Young's character in this movie hints at an intensity that promises to cause permanent physical damage if properly coaxed.

I feel if it were a poll, I'd get out-voted on this one. I still would vote for Darryl Hannah, but I confess I believe Sean Young would indeed get the bulk of the votes.

Indeed!

Also, on the bright side, it's less competition for me!

(yeah... who am kidding! Like I'd have a chance in all of Hades, anyhoo...)
