The Dark Knight blew my doors off. And it was all the more powerful because you knew that you were looking at Leger's last performance. He was amazing.

The last time a saw a movie in a theater was about 54 weeks ago now. It was the Simpsons Movie.

At home....I can't remember, it's been so long. I bet it's been well over a year.

Starting through a pile of new-to-me laserdiscs, first one spun was Last Man Standing with Bruce Willis. Fun sub-stretching sound (first DTS LD I've ever tried), gnarly Ry Cooder soundtrack with some ominous distorted baritone guitar, but weak script and silly plot.
