That's right, and I'll sell it to you for $5000.00.

What kind of chump do you take me for half pint.

Ok guys you've peaked my curiosity. I was at the thrift last night and low and behold what do I find. A Firesign Theatre album: I Think We're all Bozozs on the Bus. I haven't spun it yet but it does look interesting.

I hope you enjoy "Bozo's". The best albums, IMHO, are "How can you be in two Place at Once When You're Not Anywhere At All" and "Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers". and remember, I've got an envelope that will wash your car while you're driving it home to work.

I also hope you like We're all bozo's on this Bus, you might need to listen more than once, they plays on words go by so fast it is not alwys easy to catch them. You might even want to indulge in your choice of beverages and such for a really good listen.

"Where's your school spirit Mudhead?"
"It's in the rumble seat, do ya want a snort."

You either think they're genuis or not. It's comedy that requires effort on the listeners part. Several of us seem to think they are damn funny. But my wife and friends can't stand em. The production values of their albums are amazing, they make a lot of literary references, sometimes current topics, more often world history and culture, their "punch lines" involve saying the thing you least expect to hear.

If you love MST3K and Montly Python, you might love Firesign.

I thought "The Chinchilla Show" was pee-yer-pants funny back in '71 when I first heard it. Heard it again a few years ago, it STILL is zany-as-all-get-out.

I have to agree, it does take effort on the listeners part, but that is what makes it so good. It is more a comedy of the mind, I wonder if that is why we liked it so much back then? I still listen to my Lp's and hear things that I have missed, even though I have listened to them many times in the past.

I am fond of the 40 Great Unclaimed Melodies, from that same album.

And has anyone else heard Ozzy Goring, or I was a Cock Teaser at Roosterama.

Telling people your into Firesign Threatre is like telling them your into audio gear. We're just different.

I'm back in the saddle again.
Out where an Indian is your friend.
Where the vegitables are green.
..and you can pee in a stream... and that's important.
