"No country for old men". A movie with dry deadly dialogue.

"The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle." Decent, but you can't take a half-hour (successful) TV cartoon and turn it into an hour and a half movie, usually doesn't work.

Actually in the show, the R & B portion was only about 10-15 minutes.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Outstanding film!

Hard to believe this Oscar caliber film only grossed $4 million?!?
Guess it needed some car crashes or explosions...

I would agree. This was a great flick, and I never really felt like I was watching a musical. The use of beatles songs were perfect. Being a resident of VT for some time, it was nice to see Bread and Puppet get a little plug as well.

Across the Universe

Movie that has a bunch of Beatle songs as part of the movie, kinda like a musical. Interesting. I particularly like Joe Cocker singing Come Together.

Hairspray-I really enjoyed it but I also liked That Thing You Do!

After that, I was fortunate enough to catch the Blues Brothers on HBO in order to get my manhood back

Next up is Across the Universe.
