Looks like the producers of "Swingtown" are shopping it around on cable. This one always seemed like it would be better there anyway.

Mad Men, absolutely. killer writing, acting, set design, pure story telling and character study through showing, not telling, and always with a touch of ambiguity

Robot Chicken...makes me laugh out loud...15 minutes an episode is not enough.
In Plain sight...cause Mary McCormack is hot and she has a big silver faced receiver in her living room(gotta love that)

By far, Mad Men is the best on TV. I'm one of those 10PM only shows people. had to give up Brothers & Sisters for it. Don't miss the "what's their name family name?". The writer's strike caused a lot of grief and surfing. Had to wait for 6 months to find out what happened to "H" on the Miami CSI. The CSI series are barely on my watch list but Miami is the best.
For some strange reason, the broadcast networks had me as a captive audience in the 10 spot for a decade, ER, CSI, Law & Order and other good shows. For the past two years, I've found other shows to replace their fare. And I am really burned out on Law & Order!

2nd the Robot Chicken. Seth Green is a genius.
I also really like The Office.

Dexter and Mythbusters. At the moment, those are the only running network shows I watch.

"Battlestar Galactica" and "Teminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles". I'm actually not a big sci-fi freak, (my previous favorite show was NYPD Blue).
All of these shows get me hooked with top notch acting and intelligent story lines. One just happens to be set in deep space and the other involves a relentless cyborg trying to kill the savior of future mankind! |
