Believe it or not, my first Randolph Scott film, but it's a goody.

Catch it on TCM if you can

I am a Randolph Scott fan. I have to check TCM.

Blood Diamonds,,,,good movie ,,,I was hoping Jennifer Connelly would get Naked

A fine western that doesnt get the credit as a classic that it deserves.

Michael Clayton-George Clooney,Tom Wilkinson,Tilda Swinton,Sydney Pollack.
A really fine drama.Very good writing, and great acting all the way around.Clooney is looking at another oscar nomination, and Id bet that Swinton will be nominated for best supporting actress. You cant beat old fashioned Hollywood craftsmanship.

I saw a couple this weekend.

Elizabeth:The Golden Age with Cate Blanchett. As one writer has said, with all the costumes it looks like Elizabethean Barbie. But its interesting as a history lesson, and for the fine performances of Clive Owen, and of course,Cate.

Gone Baby Gone.Boy,was this a good movie.A very intriguing story with plenty of twists and turns.Fine performances all around, and it poses a lot of moral questions without good answers. Not exactly a feel good movie, but a fine drama nonetheless.

I do believe that the last movie I watched was Reefer Madness. Artificially colorized version, with the Pot Grandpa afterwards. VERY interesting. I do not know how this movie got released in the 1930's,

EVERYONE SHOULD SEE THIS!!!

Excellent movie, Richard Gere should probably get an Oscar nom for this one.

It's the story about the guy who wrote a fake Howard Hughes Bio back in the early 70's.

Also watched Transformers this past week, it's a 2 1/2 hour General Motors ad but it's a lot of fun.

Transformers it also has great sound effects. Could hear and feel the house
shaking. Had to lay down some of the wifes collection in her china cabinet
up stairs

You Kill Me - Ben Kingsley and Tea Leoni

Slow mover but character driven. I liked it but I don't know why.

Fun quote from the movie:
Laurel Pearson: Here's to granting others the serenity to change the things you cannot accept.
Tom: And the courage to accept large amounts of change serenely.
Frank Falenczyk: And the wisdom to know the difference.

"Pitch Black"

As the blurb states; Hip, sexy, and scary as hell!"

But, I don't think I can be "scared" much by any flick anymore. Well, maybe a couple that are disturbing in the depravity department (Blue Velvet)

And Justice For All.
