That is a really cool set, I like that cabinet quite a bit, I've never seen that one before. Never seen the power tuning button on one of those before either. Looks like the 23" tube, if it's like my 23" b/w Zenith, it's the only b/w tube I've ever seen with the bonded saftey glass. Also if it's like the Zenith I have it has electrostatic tweeters, another rarity on a television.

The "tuning knob" is for fine tuning only. On that set you would change stations with the power tuning buttons or remote. The knob in the back is to turn the tuner to set the channel skip tabs on the rear of the tuner. Nice find those were great sets.

Further notes:
It does appear to be a 23" and have a bonded face tube, I was going to mention that but forgot. It says "High Fidelity" on the front and may have tweeters, I did note the long skinny speakers on each side when I had the back off. Also a big thank you to Waltchan for alerting us to this!

Nice find, and this proves something to be not always correct, which we have worried about... Several of us, myself included, believe that most thrift stores throw TVs out without even bothering to put them for sale. Glad that this may NOT always be the case!
