The 17" and 19" System 3 CRT's seem to be fairly good in my opinion but the 25" and 23" tend to go weak, I would not worry too much about the inline Chromacolor II set if it's a table model.
Yes the delta gun tubes were better overall though especially the 23 and 25".

1977 Chromacolor II

I am going to be back to the thrift store tomorrow. Maybe I'll give that set another look. It really is a nicely built set. I hate to pass it up on the chance that I might find a better one. Do you think Moyers might have that control door? They did have a rather obscure channel knob for my 1983 RCA 13" which I still have to fix up. I sure would like a Chromacolor to put into daily service.
