I don't know why they can't just put up a big sign that tells people all electronics are sold as-is and are to be used at the customers own risk. Hell, even make people sign a paper acknowledging that they understand the policy when they buy some electronics. This seems totally reasonable considering you can't even install a screen saver without signing away all your rights.
I thought governments were trying to reduce the amount of toxic electronics that gets trashed. Is it actually a law, or is the SA just afraid of being sued? |

I don't understand why customers don't read the signs that are posted saying "All sales FINAL". The truth is out there. At least in the thrifts near me...

If they refuse to sell them for liability reasons, how about they just give the damn things away for free? The recipient could then make a "donation" to their general fund and that way everyone wins. But, noooooooo, that makes too much sense I guess.
