Hi Jeff!

Yeah, we are giving the old girl a rest, I might be able to score the part I should need for it, hope it pans out. I know that resistor assembly is mainly the answer when that happens but I've mainly worked on radios and only a little bit on TV's so I really would love to have some backup in case if I goof. I love that set a lot, if it was one of my B&W's or perhaps my 1970 Chromacolor, I would chance it with a SAM's guide next to me but this one, I prefer to work with some sort of a net. Tell you the truth, that Zenith has a picture that could rival an HDTV, then again, I'm terminally nearsighted and the set has a lot of sentimental value to me so take that as you will. B-)

Pictures of Whitey watching the race, I wonder why they disappeared. I'll have to look in my archives and upload them again, she is quite a NASCAR fan. one ther thing, I'd like to get the Zenith to work again because I have a 1998 Zenith, a 19 incher in top of hte DVD/VCR combo and Pansy, my 18 year old calico cat, will be 19 in August, loves to lay on top of the combo. Plus I want to be able to Playstation in color again.
