Yes, it does have 2 5U4 tubes. Yeah it weighs a lot too. My back is just recovering from getting it out of the car and into the storage unit.

I have one with a 10BP4. Good performers! Lots of capacitors, as mentioned. Very odd tuner, indeed. I use mine and feed it with an agile modulator! Very good focus! Fun set!
