Well here are the two numbers on the rear of the chassis, you can see how I think the chassis # is missing..

On the upside though, this looks like a very nice set for a fresh start. Not too common.

I think you found it. That "92010" #. It is either a T920 or a U920 I would say T920-10
Sams #887-2 Last edited by rca2000; 10-12-2014 at 07:24 PM. Reason: more info |

T-920-10 would be my guess. The U numbers were usually used on the round tube chassis.

Looks like a good ID. The Sams is just before my full

That's the one control I wish my RCA had!
I like this TV, if it were presented to me, I would get it right away. Very nice find! |

Well the seller said, that they didn't log the 887 in...so they told me to keep these and issued a refund...so sucks for me, no sams...it was the only one I could find listed for sale....guess maybe I will be paying for a copy....grrrrrrr

The SAMS website costs a bit more but gives instant gratification, you can get it digitally within 24 hours. If you assign some value to your time it's really not a bad deal at all considering what a great service
They provide. |

Do a search for used Sams, you will find a lot that sell them
for 5-10 each. Be sure its a first gen NOT a copy. I dont know what Sams sends now but I would be very careful with PDF's etc, they can really suck. 73 Zeno
