It s a beauty. I found my very first radio, at a flea market in Northern Italy in perfect shape. Getting it back home on the plane was another trick, but it made it over here intact.
Attached is the schematic for the tv. ![]() hope this helps Ross Last edited by baursam; 10-04-2012 at 10:53 PM. |

This thread makes me smile-And it just shows the truly "International" appeal of old, obsolete electronic gizmos...And consider it an Open Invitation to any/all VK members to stop by my humble abode...We'll have a Coke, or a Beer, sit around & Talk TV & Radio for awhile ! (Grin)

Finally I started the restoration of this set
![]() After some hour under variac, I have an image!!! After a ion trap trim, I noticed a bad vertical linearity. I started to check caps and I found the electrolytic capacitor connected at the cathode totally exausted... I replaced it but no changes. I have the correct voltage on the screen of 6V6, tomorrow I check some other capacitor... |

After some checks I have decided to replace all paper caps... very out of tollerance, for example a 200nF increased to 550nF...
