I just checked, and you are both right. Youtube caches in bursts for me here. That is lousy compared to the old method. I hardly ever go on Youtube in any case. I do have a Youtube downloader program that may also fix this problem as a side benefit.

Is it possible the browser you are using has anything to do with this? I just watched a 1hr 48min movie on Youtube that was playing terribly, (kept stalling) so I just walked away, came back later and the whole thing was cached. This was in Firefox.
