That Motorola looks similar to my 17T6, same knobs but with a wood cabinet. One of my first finds in 8th grade and I got it working with a few caps and a tube or 2. It should be a real easy one to restore. Beware of the metal ring around the screen, its where the 2nd anode connects.

Really like that Westinghouse!!!!

i really like that westinghouse too,you know if been pretty blessed lately finding these some of these tv's ,as soon as i got home another lady sent me a email shes got a zenith port hole ,i hope to look at today .but what im really trying to find is some color tv roundie's they seem so close but yet to far, iv only scored the 68 magi ,im starting to get alot of b & w if there is anyone in my area that has any color roundies and wants to do any trading let me know i would like to balance my collection as i go . iv been watching that rca color one on ebay thats in louisville i really likey

sorry about Eric h didnt really intend to jump on your thread ,i was putting my pictures in document files of my tv's , and first thing i went to this website and was going to upload my pictures on a thread after i figured out again , i always see what everone talking about first ,and you must have just posted what you just bought, so i thought i would show you what just got home with . dint set out to jump on your thread or get that much responce about the tv's either i really was showing you. it just took on a life of its own ,so sorry about that.

yeah iv had a few dudes myself lately ,i ran into a old man in my area named lewis he's in 90's, he had his own tv and appliance store since the 50's or early 60's just closed it a few yrs ago , he has tubes and test equit. ex ex and still stocks picture tubes, his daughter called me yesterday to see if i want buy his tube stock ,and wants me to start talking with him ,he's in a few stages of altimers i started emailing him ,he seems to be a nice guy he like's talking tv.

Here's a couple pictures.

The CRT seems to have gotten worse, I think it's gone to air.

The heater seemed dim to me when I first checked it, now it doesn't light at all.

I can't see the getter without pulling the tube and removing all the yoke stuff and that's nore work than it's worth.

This will probably have to go on the back porch with a blue tarp over it for now, even if I get a 12" tube I'd rather put it in something other than this.
