I used to carry around a portable U-Matic recorder that used the KCA-20 tapes. The machine, battery pack, and camera were killer to lug around.

We had 2 very nice editing bays at the TV station for 3/4". When 1" Ampex came along, these bays were quickly forgotten...

I have one of those that looks like its brand new. I wish you would have taken it when you were here! It needs to find a new home.

A full sized U-Matic VCR or a Portable one?

Its big. It has vu meters on it and lots of knobs and other things.
