Hello,
yes I do have all the Saba tv you have pictured. I can give you the portable one (tv tv showing star trek). I have no the original remote control but I can provide one that will work on it. If you pay the shipping expenses then I'll give the tv completely free.
I'll take a picture as soon as I get the chance. The other Sabas are too large to be shipped.

Hi KGen1

Today, a search with "Saba" in the modern TV section turned up 27 Saba TVs:

http://desc.shop.ebay.de/i.html?_nkw...eDesc=1&_rdc=1

Bookmark the link and look every few days. E-Bay sellers aren't always disciplined and some vintage sets turn up in the modern sets section.

Digital standards converters E-Bay US, look here:
http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_from=R4...All-Categories

In this listing, i've used several of these Atlona converters US 140.00 transcoders with good success:
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Atlona-AV-To...item35b1583bf1

On a large screen TV you will have some motion judder ("cogging") when the camera pans across a scene. Live with it, only 80K$ Broadcast transcoders are capable of transcoding while producing a smooth pan.

Happy hunting!

Wow, thank you!

Definitely will keep checking eBay Germany for hidden Saba's.

And geez, those converters sure cost an arm and a leg!

Saba Ultracolor

May 12, 2011

Hallo KGen1!

I've just read your advertiment concerning Saba Ultracolor Giugiaro.

Well I have three of them in black version (black cabinet) 27" (picts no. 8 and 9 in your advertisement) and one with "wood" cabinet, 27" as well.
Remote control and instruction manual also available. They work but need to be adjusted.
I'm not a tradesman, they are just the ones my own family, my parents and relatives bought in 1978-1980 since they were the very best on the market. When new sets came I didn't want to put them in the trash so they are still here by me.

Please let me know your interest.

Many tks and best regards

Paola,

Thank you for your generous offer!

However, I already have a member on this forum that is offering me the exact Saba TV that I wish to own.

Thank you anyway! Much appreciated!

Hi KGen1 & NG members,

Just passing on info received from Paola this morning concerning her Italian Saba TVs for sale:
- 3 x T 6787 (three sets with Giugiaro black cabinet)
- 1 x T 6785 (one set with wood cabinet).

See enclosed pictures.

- All TVs are 230VAC
- PAL B/G color system + SECAM
- No Euro-SCART on any of them
- No NTSC either via RF or video
- User manual & service data supplied.
- price : 60.00 Euros per TV.

I am in no way connected to the seller.

I will now gracefully bow out, KGen1 is getting a Saba TV from another VK'er and i don't collect recent 25-27" color sets.

Best Regards
