IIRC the 25ZP22 is a National Video type number. Little wonder you're having trouble with the CRT. If you get that NOS Sylvania CRT, that set should have a great picture.

Things are moving along well. At this point all issues have been resolved
and a nice picture is present. It took 3 chassis to make one fully operating set. Going over the whys of no video at the cathodes I finally checked DC (that should have been done first) The DC was missing. Turned out to be an open winding on the transformer. Good thing I had a spare. at this point the video was now on the tube and I had excessive brightness that was partially controlable. This was an issue of using modules from 3 different chassis, The earlier video output module used a different bias arrangement to the Pix tube. Thank goodness for schematics that showed mods. Fixed that and all is well Will post some pictures soon. Thanks again to the many VK members that were helpful. This was much appreciated. |
