Congratulations, I think...
You can't complain about the price, but I realize that is the least of your worries! My 48-2500 is the only set I have that has not made it into the house yet and consumes mucho space in my workshop. That's partly because I think it's not all that attractive to display, and partly because I don't have all of its technical bugs corrected yet. Maybe if you start working on yours it will inspire me to really get mine whipped into shape. Resist the temptation to try to clean the screen with anything aggressive. Hey Eric, don't let UPS ship it....
I have many spares for this beast, as I've junked 3 or 4 of them, and Tom is absolutely right - don't clean the reflective screen with anything, this from experience. Chuck

Well it's home, in the back of my truck for now.
It's not as heavy as I thought, the two of us were able to slide it out of his truck and take it over to mine without any Hernias. By comparison my 49-1280 Combo gave three grown men fits getting it out of a barn and into the truck. It's pretty rough but not as rough as my last one and it seems to all be there. Pictures at a later date.

P.S.
The Cert of Authenticity just says it's a 48-2500 that was bought at one of their auctions, nothing about why they had it. I'm guessing if it belonged to Bogart they wouldn't let it go without mentioning that. It has the Name Carroll written on the back edge. The Finish is original I'm pretty sure, sort of a Honey color. The inside under the lid is dark because it's a projection set, don't want reflections.
