My favorite commercials are the ones I never have to look at.
Historically, Tony Schwartz's 1964 anti-Goldwater "Daisy" election spot for LBJ ranks as one of the most significant ads run (as opposed to the regular product garbage.) Amongst the latter, the one I thought was interesting is the Apple "1984" ad from the Superbowl. Directed by Ridley Scott, that was more of an artistic statement than anything I have had to look at since in that genre, and it is not surprising that it is remembered today. C.

This is without a doubt the FUNNIEST commercial I've ever seen. It even looks gruesome but those pigs are hilarious!! : Boost Pig Commercial

The Ridley Scott/Vangelis Chanel #5 commercials of the late '70s-early '80s...They set THE standard for class, beauty, & artistry IMHO that all the Billy Mays, Flos, & Vinces of the "Screamng School" can never hope to achieve.
