One thing with mine though, it is a VCR/DVD combo, the VCR works perfectly.

the memorex i fixed last week would power on but not read a disc i think. it was about 8 months old. i beleive they put inferior caps in them. you cant use quality parts and sell them for $40.00-$80.00. steve
