Try your library, I imagine Naperville's would be pretty decent, and see if they have it or can get it. If they can't I'm sure I can arrange a road trip your way in a couple of weeks.

I have the license plate (part of my license plate collection<g>), KAR-120C, and all of the episodes of The Prisoner. One of my absolute favourite shows.
A good guide? Check this book: Be seeing you. Doc

Rumour is The Beeb is remaking it with Christopher Ecclestone and that's the reason he left Dr. Who ( apparently it was his favourite TV show too!).

Next you need to watch
http://www.deepdiscount.com/viewprod...ductId=7253105 and get to know number Six when he was still John Drake. Many of the characters from Secret Agent return in the Prisoner, six and Drake use a lot of the same phrases.. (be seeing you) McGoohan siad that number six and Drake were different charaters however, McGoohan didn't own the characters of the series he created, producer Ralph Smart (series creator and writer, co-writer), owned the "John Drake" character and did not licence it for the new series. Officially sanctioned novels based on the series refer to Number Six as John Drake. In the episode "The Girl Who Was Death," we see Number Six meeting a character named 'Potter', a Drake contact in Danger Man. Colony Three in Secret agent was also a preview of the Village. And in some episodes of Secret agent you can see the bicycle Village simbol on some office walls.

Always liked the show as my avatar indicates - I have been lusting after a Super Seven from the time I first saw the show

I never could manage to make it all the way through that series. I tried on more than one occasion to do it, but it was just too slow moving and monotanous for me to stick with. The one hour episodes all seemed to just drag-on forever. How did the series end anyways? Did he ever escape? Who was number 1?

Great show! PBS plays the complete series from time to time.
