Checking Craigslist is a chore for me. Every Single Time I check it, I see once nice TV turned into a fish tank, a dog bed, or a bar. It just disgusts me to no end when I see that. Once in a blue moon, something will turn up. Like the Zenith this thread was about, or back in April, I found a CTC-21 combo, that I sorely regret not getting.

Thanks Jeff, I appreciate that. About the riding mowers, it's kind of a running gag my dad and I have. In my little slice of heaven, the east side of Gardendale, almost every one of the fat, bald, shirtless rednecks has a riding mower, and on a clear day, they will all use it. Every one of them. They have absolutely no use for them, as the yards are half the size of mine, and I can use a push mower to do the whole thing in 20 minutes. Some of the morons will sit on their running lawn mower while eating. It's just really sad. I refuse to use a riding mower just because they're loud and annoying, and I don't want to look like a lazy bum. If I had several acres to mow, sure! And the culture (or lack therof) is disgusting. Most houses around here are either run down shacks, or McMansions that cost a quarter million and are ugly as sin. Whenever I'm anywhere in Wisconsin, I feel like I'm on a different planet. The atmosphere is so much nicer, the weather is better, etc. And all that "southern hospitality" crap is absolute hogwash. Believe me, after nine months of heat, I'm ready for the cold! It stays in the upper 90's and 100's from June to September here. In fact, the high for tomorrow is 90 degrees!

And the part that really boggles my head is that these people are PROUD of their "Southern Heritage." WHAT‽ This place is just abhorent. As I type this, I'm depending on my 1970's Gibson window A/C with a bazillion hours on it. If it fails - so sleeping tonight!
