When we were discussing "best & worst" I forgot about the Sharp 25" cheapie from the late 80s... It had a rotten picture right out of the box, and I can't remember EVER repairing one that stayed repaired after a power supply failure (that 3S4M) regulator

But I guess the 27" version at least had a decent tube...
