Help with routing dial cord on Sony Mega Watchman FD-510

Just got a great condition Sony Mega Watchman at my local thrift store, but has one issue, the dial wasn't working, but I did fix the broken plastic clip that it had, but can't get it stringed back properly, the diagram for the nearly identical fd-500 was of no help, was very clear.
