 Keep the ballerina , loose the phone . Why do I say this ? , as one who lived through the 1960s as a VERY electronics interested young man , I can tell you with all certainty that no house I was ever in had the phone sitting on the TV like that . The ballerina , sure , , , , , , and a set of rabbit ears (UHF converter too  ) with perhaps some other favorite keepsake , but never the phone .  PS , I love the TV , , and , I always thought those "futuristic" phones were just flat out Butt ugly
