They are unusual, very unusual. They are moderately rare. They are neat technology.
They have crappy pictures: the vertical lines show, the contrast is poor, and the color is poor in an odd sort of way.

They are also bitch to restore: I gave up on mine and sent it to a specialist in them. You really do have to run the boards through an ultrasonic to get rid of the corrosive goo from the bad caps, and then carefully repair all the bad circuit board traces.
