hi_volt: From the early 80's:

Heavy Metal

John Carpenter's "The Thing"

John Carpenter's "They Live"

Watership Down

I'll bring the pop corn if we can watch them all in one night.....

I liked XANADO too..... ONJ was pretty hot.... Good movie...
Can't believe they made good movies without guns or car chases back then,
but then as I remember reviewers didn't like it much..... And they made good
car chase movies back then.... Now they don't think anything about
Matrixing up a car chase till you just sit there disappointed.....
You can't beat a Rockford Car Chase ! !

Ahhhh, those were the days when I actually Went to the movies....
Now I've seen so many that suck as a rental, I'm always happy I didn't
blow any real money on them....
