I built a 25V NRI kit TV back in the 1980's. It worked great. The instructions are straight-forward.
Before I built the TV, I built the oscilloscope. I had to have it to set up the TV as I went along... Also built the dot/bar generator. I still have the oscilloscope. The TV died in a moving accident.

1980's, that must have been a solid state set? Did your TV have a cabinet, or was it only a chassis?
