A little hard to tell. If it's brown inside and ivory outside, it is probably painted. If painted it will have a little chip somewhere unless you are superlucky! If painted there will be some overspray inside.

If it's solid ivory inside and out, it is either plaskon or styrene and the color goes straight through the plastic.

In any case, mild soap and water will clean it. For a styrene or plaskon case, you can take out the guts and just wash it with soapy water in the sink. If there's a sticker of course protect that.
