Woolco TV department, ca. 1964-66

I have a feeling I'll wear out that website some night when I've nothing to do!

I barely remember Woolco-they all closed in the very early 80s (in the states.) This seems strange-seems like the company would have been smarter to build on Woolco and close all the Woolworth's, sort of like Kresge/Kmart I guess.

Someday I need to borrow my Mom's high school yearbooks. There are some great ads showing the TV department at Sears c.1964-66.

Making me feel OLD... In my mother's high school year book, if there were ads, they'd be for a TRK-12 at a high-end department store in Philadelphia.
