I've had that same set in a Fada also. It's a cheap vari-cap tuner with a band switch for 2-6 & 7-13. Not a Mallory Inductuner like DuMont and Crosley had.
On the squiggle pen: I like ours better. It's anodized aluminum  . We got them for our avocado business.Charles
