What kind of paint should be used for RCA DTA800 DTV converter box for RCA CTC121 TV?

Take as color-accurate a photo as possible, and take it to Loews' home improvement center. They frequently run commercials claiming they can match any color paint, even if given a photograph. This is what I'd try first.

If not, you would have to compromise and select as close a silver as you can find on the shelf.
