BTW, do you know when the regular season starts? Wonder if the writers strike pushed it back?

I watched it. And yes, it was certailny well produced. But I found the obvious political ajenda that they were pushing with portions of the show to be extremely dissapointing, and really ruined it for me.

I didn't see it so much as pushing an agenda as following what is going on in the USA. 9/11 happened and it shocked us, we are in a war now, portions of the country are diametrically opposed to each other, and many more just want to get by. Most of that undercurrent was obvious in Razor. It was also obvious though in the pilot of Galactica and pretty much every episode since.

I can however see though that once you pick up on something it can taint the rest of the experience. It just didn't get to me that way because I've accepted that this is part & parcel of the show. A show, to me, that is still one of the best sci-fi romps to come along in awhile.

I passed on Razor. I haven't been as keen on the show since season 2.5-only saw the first 1/2 of season 3. I also found the other stories with the Pegasus to be rather nasty. I'll eventually see it though. I'm not sure if I like the direction BSG is going now.
