It's raining TVs!!!

Wow, I've never seen this before.

On my way home from work yesterday, I passed 3 big vintage console TVs on the curb within 6 blocks of home for trash pickup. They all looked to be 25" or bigger and I'd guess 60's or 70s sets; you know, wooden cases with front mounted speakers.

I'm not a TV guy so I didn't snag any (yeah, like there's any room for old TVs here!! ), but it made me wonder why so many. My guess is that a lot of folks are getting new big screens for the holiday and rotating Dad's/Grandma's, etc old set in the basement out to the curb.

At any rate, the guys who collect these old sets may want to do a bit of curb cruising in the next few weeks; there may be some goodies for you out there!

BTW, if it were audio gear, I would have found room for it!!
