The only real problem I have seen on the 12" b/w's is weak CRT's on some. Some like early-mid 80's Magnavox seemed to have short lived CRT's, although the chassis would work fine.
The Zenith Chromacolors seem to have among the best performance and CRT's but I have seen a fair amount of problems in the modules and in the single knob varactor tuners.
