CBS Color Compatible Dumont TV

I have an early 1950's Dumont on my collection with a b&w crt that is much wider than the conventional 4:3 aspect ratio. It almost looks almost like to could pass for an early 16:9 wide screen tube. The set has a brass colored metal edging that runs around the CRT faceplate. Printed on the back of the set are instructions that say it can be converted to color tv using a CBS color wheel. Take a look at the pics. Any one have any info on this?
