I dream of Philco...

The other morning I had a dream. In the dream, I was watching "How it's Made", which can be seen on the science channel. The topic was about getting rid of garbage. Oddly enough, a string of household appliences was somehow being dragged from a big truck, as if each was tied to eachother in a string. One of those appliences was a Philco TV.

Somehow, I was able to take the TV. It was as big as a tombstone radio. The CRT looked like 8". It also had a tube chassis, as big as a radio chassis of a tombstone set. The set was small and looked really cool. Is there anything that Philco made that was anything similar to what my crazy mind came upb with?

Just imagine a small portable set that looked like a speaker cabinet as big as a tombstone set. The front edges were lipped, so the front panel was sunk into the frame. The back had a total of 3 inputs. UHF and VHF screws, and an odd arrangement of 5 RCA jacks, all black, labeled "color reference". It's definately weird. Any one know of anything similar?

Thanks.

Jonathan
