I purchased a Toshiba that happens to modular design as older zeniths, and xl100s. Definetly competing with USA sets of that time. Does anyone know of these??
Overall built very well, look at that flyback, similiar in construction to 50s American flybacks. High quality parts used overall, tuner has metal gears. Pic tube says--BLACKSTRIPE-- a form of black matrix tube?? Toshiba made TVs with this label at least until the 80s. I believe this was their TV model introducing this type of CRT or close. Any AKers with this set?? Date code of 1976. Here's a picture of chassis with IF module removed, Note the hefty HV tripler mounted above Fly.
