Sony 3000R?
Got a call today from my ad in the paper, This lady has a Sony 3000R.
She is the original owner and claims that Sony only made 1000 of these, Each one with a brass tag that states the production number from 1 to 1000, Hers is around 280. Also says it has motorized doors in front of cabinet and 30" screen. Retail was 8000.00 in the early eighties.(1981?) Also claims it is around 600 pounds! I barely remember something about these, Maybe saw one in a Highland appliance store or something, Can anyone out there shed some light on the history of this set?
