Keep us posted with your progress. As I recall, a silicon diode will give a higher B+ voltage thruout. You might have to add a dropping resistor to keep your voltages correct with the schematic.
I've got a Sweep Systems International model 450 sweep generator that I can't find anything about. It doesn't do markers. Its from the Seventies I believe as it has a BNC connector on it. I heard that SSI is the fore-runner of Wavetek.
