Eico 369 Broadband Detector Diode

I have an Eico 369 being shipped to me and was looking over the manual and in the Calibration section it lists a small circuit, a broadband detector, you make to calibrate the generator. The circuit specs a 1N48 or equivalent diode which is a germanium diode. I have a 1N60 or I can get locally some 1N270 or 1N34A diodes. I checked the spec sheets and the 1N270 looks like a decent substitute for the 1N48. I've included a picture from the manual showing the circuit and how it is used.

Thanks for your help.
