Green drive and green cut.

Hi.

Could someone tell me please what the difference is between green drive and green cut? Both can be adjusted separately via the service menu on the flat screen Toshiba CRT TV I've got. Blue cut and blue drive are also adjustable separately but as far as I can find, the only adjustment for red is red cut.

Having made a complete balls up of the picture geometry (never drink cider then think you can improve things), next evening I managed to work my way through it and got it back to normal (more or less). At its worst, the red tinted dial of Big Ben shown in the opening sequence of "The day the earth caught fire" looked as if it had been painted by Salvador Dali. Seriously.........
