Television Service Query

Hello all.

I'm new here, great site!

I posted a thread on AK about my problem, and was referred here.

To put things shortly, my 1994 CRT television has developed a strange problem. Picture and sound are fine, but after viewing it for 15 or 20 minutes, the picture compresses vertically to almost a 16:9 ratio. A nice whack on the top fixes it right up. If I don't whack it, eventually it compresses to almost a line. It is also sensitive to vibration, walking or jumping around it makes the image jump vertically.

I'm getting pretty tired of whacking it every 20 minutes, so I was wondering if this is fixable? I quite like this TV, and would love to have it keep working.

I posted pictures of the mainboard on AK, but I attached them to this post as well.

Thanks all.
