50s Sylvania console on ebay question

So I'm browsing ebay and run upon this 50s Sylvania console in excellent cosmetic shape and thought about making an offer to see if he would bite but wait there's a problem.The HV lead is not hooked up to the picture tube and the cover (for the Hv compartment?) is hanging off the lead.And the plate cap is off the HO tube. And what's going on with the oil filled cap taped to the side of the cabinet?

so I thought I would ask the experts on here what they thought about it.
