Sony KV-20/25XBR thread.

My $17 KV-20XBR is now up and running in the guest/granddaughter's room. This thing has a great picture with completely straight convergence and only slight blooming in very bright true red. I set it with a THX optimizer disk and then backed off the brightness and contrast settings a bit. WOW! There was a Yellowbook comercial on with brightly colored wires in red, green and yellow on a white background. Blew my mind after having watched mid 90's RCA CRTs the last few years. The only 'problem' (if you can call it that) is it seems to have an uncompressed color gamut. I don't have an original remote, therefore no trinitone settings. Normal people are fine. Spray tan people are REALY orange. Wood interiors all look like old Irish manors. Ah, vintage TV!
